"Bird Cloud: A memoir" by Annie Proulx

I enjoyed reading this book as I have been to Wyoming a couple of times and I know the area that Annie Proulx lived in quite well. "Bird Cloud" is the name of the property that Annie develops and along the way she gives you a history of the area and the animals that you find there (such as the resident mountain lion that possibly caused a cow to fall off a cliff so that it could have steak!!) A lot of archaelogy & geology of the area is included - so an interesting read for those interested in the sciences.

What a terrible mountain lion! It should think about vegetarianism. Far better for the cows.
