This book is about a woman called Alex whose mother commits suicide and leaves behind a mysterious past which Alex sets out to find. After discovering her mother was once married to a wealthy vineyard owner but then the relationship dissolved when their infant son went missing, Alex decides to go to this town and see if she can find some answers to her and her mother's past. As Alex starts to remember and sees connections to her dark nightmares about blood rituals, cults and violent deaths the pieces of the puzzle start to come together. It was a little predictable but I still didn't figure all the clues out and it was an enjoyable read.
