First book in a series featuring forensic entomologist Nick Polchak "Bug Man" and is set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. As part of the disaster rescue team he finds bodies that have been murdered but made to look as though hurricane victims. Along with Beth his psychiatrist and T.J. a boy who has lost his father they manage to figure out who the real murderer is.

Snappy, smart and sarcastic dialogue makes it a good read, I had some chuckles to myself and was grossed out by the bugs and am looking forward to the next in the series "Less than dead".
