Miriam Williams was an idealistic young lady drawn to religion and communal living. The Children Of God, with what starts out with seemingly good intentions, ends up degenerating into a cult where women and children face abuse. It is a very interesting story and goes through what is at first appealing and then degrading in this cult. It is interesting to see how "Mo" ends up brainwashing his followers and what people will put up with until they say enough is enough!
