This is a powerful & touching tribute to the young courageous Australians who served in the the Bomber Command. These were the forgotten heroes of World War 2. The author has thoroughly researched and written detailed accounts of the dangerous flights - Dambusters, Battle of Berlin etc. along with personal stories of love, laughter and loss. An excellent and compelling read.
