Kitty Kelley has meticulously researched every bit of Oprah's life and presented her subject warts and all. Arguably one of the most influential personalities in America,(if you want your book to sell or your product to be snapped up..get Oprah to endorse it) Oprah has successfully revealed to her audience of mainly white middle class women only those bits of her life that would ensure ratings. This may sound cynical, but it has allowed her show to stay the highest rating talk show for over 25 years. So if you are keen to find out more about Oprah than you think you know now or if you are just curious, this is the book for you.
