I felt like I was having a conversation with Ellen Degeneres as I read this book as it's more a commentary on life then a true biography. She talks about how materialistic we are, how we don't listen to each other and how we take life too seriously. I found her comments on being an American Idol judge insightful and thoughtful and was interested about how her tv show is produced. It was a quick and fun read with some laugh out loud moments.
