As all Wally Lamb books I have read so far this year, I find them slow and I struggled to keep reading. But I got over that and ended up enjoying this book. I understood first hand what Delores Price went through having been in her shoes during my school days. So glad she found her happiness in the end.

I just finished reading "She's come undone" and I thought it was a great book too. You were never really sure what was going to happen or who was going to stay in Dolores' life - lots of characters came and went.
