by doing a course on beautiful Cape Cod. Just as she prepares to leave, her estranged daughter turns up on her doorstep .... very, very pregnant. Claire must decide whether to give up her dream or stay with her daughter and ailing parents.

What sounds like typical 'chic-lit' is a cut above many of the books in this genre I found it a great holiday read, and look forward to the next novel by Maryann McFadden.
