The Boy Under the Table is a very readable book about the redemption of Lochie, a little boy lost and of his saviour, Tina a good girl gone bad. Each chapter is written from the point of view of the protangonists who are all affected by Lochie's disappearance; his mother, his father, the policeman and his wife who live in the same town as Lochie, but it is Tina's story that is the most compelling. The book was both moving and hard to put down.
