A truly remarkable book, beautifully researched and presented!  The hundreds of extraordinary, candid and clear images of Australian Diggers from World War 1 have been selected from the thousands of photographic glass plates recently discovered in a French farmhouse.  Many 'Lost Diggers' have been identified; heroic and heartbreaking stories are revealed.  An intriguing insight into the tragedy of war.

Highly recommended.
