When taxi driver Ed Kennedy finds himself chosen to deliver a series of messages to unsuspecting members of his small town community he finds himself confronted with more than he bargained for. Although the aim is to change the lives of others, indirectly Ed discovers that it is his own life that will change the most. 'The book thief' was one of my favourite novels of 2008 so I had pretty high expectations for this one. Although this is not as good (how could it be??) it is still a worthwhile read from an author with enormous talent. I really admire Zusak's writing style and ability to combine a unique story with memorable character's. I give it the thumbs up.
