The pile of stuff at the bottom of the stairs by Christina Hopkinson

This is a book I can guarantee all married women can relate to with and without children! Mary is a fed up mother of two who works part time and looks after the house full time. Her fun loving husband may be great with kids but when it comes to helping out around the house he's as helpful as a hangover. After years of putting up with housework inequality Mary is at the point where something must be done or she's filing for divorce. And so the list begins!! In order to decide whether her husbands worth keeping she starts to record exactly what he does and doesn't do around the house. Mary's predicament is a common one and it was great to read a book that highlights the funny side of domesticity. But really Mary should spend a week in my house and she'd really have something to whine about!!!
