The charming story of an elderly woman approaching the end of her eventful life.  An angel appears to take care of her, only she is aware of the angel's presence.  Jennifer Johnston never wastes words.  She is my favourite writer.

Jennifer Johnston writes in a clear crisp style, reminiscent of so many of her Irish counterparts.

"Two Moons" is part comedy and part family drama, but also has an element of spiritual fantasy that gives it an unusual twist.
