This is an entertaining, fast-paced and interesting read.

Jacob Jankowski is the main character, he recounts the time he spent working for the Benzini Brothers travelling circus during the Great Depression in the 1930s. The book is partially based on real circus stories.

I'm reading this book at the moment and think it's fantastic. The imagery of the circus is so real I literally feel I am right there. I can definitely say I will never look at a circus the same way again!
