"Book lovers never go to bed alone"
On Thursday the 24th we will be reading "The God of small things" by Aruhndati Roy. Last month we read "The well at worlds end" by A.J. Mackinnon which most found to be a great read. His earlier book "The unlikely voyage of Jack de Crow" has been reviewed here and is definitely a recommended read.

P.S.
I forgot to mention we tried to read some of "Ulysses" by James Joyce. It was, predictably, a challenge with some rewards..one member of the group got over 300 pages into it and vows to finish it off!. We all take our hats off to you...you will soon be one of the small band of those around the globe who have read the whole work!
Happy Bloomsday!
