Ed King - David Guterson

Guterson has a reputation as a good author and rightly so based on his wonderful book 'Snow Falling on Cedars'. Alas, 'Ed King' does nothing for his reputation. I found it contrived, predictable and laced with so many convenient coincidences that it really wasn't worth the time I spent reading it.
