Last Chance to win an eReader by submitting a book review in National Year Of Reading 2012 Competition

 

 

 

The National Year of Reading and the Right Honourable Minister Simon Crean announced the winners of Our Story  on 14 February 2012. This outstanding set of books was chosen by readers as books that truly defined our national pysche and typified the Australian way of life.

The winning titles were

Smoke and Mirrors, by Kel Robertson (ACT); The Idea of Home, by John

Hughes (NSW);

Listening to Country, by Ros Moriarty (NT); The White Earth, by Andrew

McGahan (QLD);

Time’s Long Ruin, by Stephen Orr (SA); Wanting, by Richard Flanagan (TAS);

Well Done, Those Men

, by Barry Heard (VIC) and Jasper Jones, by Craig Silvey (WA).

Now  you have a chance to reflect on the winner for your state or territory and tell other readers what you thought. All you need to do is write a review of 50 words or less for any of the eight  titles featured in the above list.

All reviews will be entered into the draw so start writing your thoughts down now and tell others why they may want to read them.

The closing date for entries is 14th May, 2012.
