An interesting book which gives the history of vampires across the world, it seems every culture has a version of the vampire myth. The book also gives a history of the Vampire in literature and the impact of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
A very good read for those interested in the origin of the current vampire craze in literature following the success of Stephenie Meyers Twilight series.
