I think Patricia Cornwell has run her course with Scarpetta and is unable to bring a freshness to her that would keep her exciting.

It ran dry in some areas and at time didn't make itself clear. The plot line was good but the dialog seemed wooden and forced and too many unnecessary medical terms, who is she trying to impress?
