I came upon this book while looking for display books and it immediately caught my interest.I've always been interested in the history and origins of mankind and while I already knew the basic facts which recent genetic research had revealed this book goes into the detail.
It is written by genetic scientist Spencer Wells in language for the non scientist to understand.It traces the history of mankind in Africa and how we as a species spread throughout the world using genetic markers. I found it fascinating and it certainly shows how we are all related and that racism has no real basis.
Highly recommended.
