My intro to Don Tapscott was the film
Us Now. He stands out in an impressive class of talking heads with his pithy, business-focused sound bites on the new world of instant, global and always-on communication.
But this book - highly rated, a big seller - would work better for me as a series of short YouTube clips. That's not to say it isn't readable. But a few too many buzzwords and awkward neologisms.
For those familiar with life online, the messages are not new but the case studies are impressive.
A good one for managers who want a handle on what's going on and anyone in business who wants to 'monetize' the open web.
And a cut above 'Cult of Amateur' style pop analytics.
