Marieke Hardy is a writer, speaker, TV host and Radio announcer known best probably for her stint on JJJ radio, and her appearances on the ABCs First Tuesday Book Club. Here is a witty collection of essays from throughout her life, candidly relating her experiences as a child actor, flirtations with the world of swingers, and an uneasy series of encounters with her idol, Bob Ellis. It’s a very frank and funny collection of stories that will make you cringe with the painful honestly of it, and laugh out loud at the ridiculousness of the situations she finds herself in. This is sure to be a bit racy for some, but if you don’t mind the saucy humour, a very enjoyable and at times very touching read.
