Did you know Australians read more books than any other country per capita? To celebrate our passion for reading, libraries and bookshops all around the country are taking part in the ‘Get Reading!’ campaign. Previously known a ‘Books Alive’ this is Australia’s largest annual promotion of books and reading. Get Reading! runs for all of September, so look out for events and giveaways including your free copy of ’50 books you can’t put down’. So be inspired and find some time to put your feet up and Get Reading!
