Event Description

July this year marks the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's death – an appropriate year in which to remember her style and genius. Susannah Fullerton, President of the Jane Austen Society of Australia, will perform dramatic readings from the six beloved Austen novels, but also from the juvenilia and letters. She will bring Austen’s wonderful characters to life. Revel in the humour, the poignant moments, the wit and irony of the immortal Jane Austen.
