Join David Bell at Barry O’Keefe Library as he talks about his book Welcome to the Loony Bin which
charts fashions in psychiatry and the law over 55 years. Beginning with his training in Callan Park Lunatic Asylum Bell uses case histories to illustrate miraculous cures as well as the blundering repetition of harmful excesses.
