Ever wanted to be an Asassin.. The first of a engrossing series (trilogy).
This book got me at Hello. I couldn't put it down - adventure, mystery, magic, jousting, - medieval but not historical.
The book traces how a young boy moves from out of the gutter (a petty thief) to become a master Asassin. If you like adventure games like "Balders Gate" or "Dungeons & Dragons" then this is well worth your time.
Well developed characterisations, would suit young adults and the "Elder" fantasy fan as well.Unlike the Rangers Apprentice series (which is geared more to the younger teen) this book has aspects that all can identify with.
I just bought the next volume - out this month! And Volume 3 is due in December - just in time for Christmas.
