This is quite a challenging book, set in postwar Germany about a teenage boy who has an affair with an mysterious older woman more that twice his age.

It questions your morals and captures the heart and mind.

Film tie in with Ralph Fiennes and Kate Winslet.

I enjoyed both the film and the book which is an easy read.
