Dewey :the small town library cat who touched the world

This is a fun and entertaining book about Dewey Readmore Books, the resident cat at Spencer Public Library who was returned in the book chute one cold night in 1988. The library staff adopted him and his relationship with Vicky Myron, a single mother who overcame hardships and faced her greatest challenge.

A competition was held to choose his name. Dewey was unlike any other cat as he sat at the front door each morning at 9:00 AM to greet the public, attended meetings and reduced stress for all humans who paid attention to him for he had a library to run!

Dewey even has his own website and is on facebook also.
Check it out!

Dewey is an official memer of the Library Cat Society.

I got this book from my US sister in law for Christmas and haven't read it yet - sounds like a good Easter Read.
After reading this book I will never view a library or a cat in the same way. This is a beautiful, touching, once-in-a-lifetime story.
