I forgot to mention we tried to read some of "Ulysses" by James Joyce. It was, predictably, a challenge with some rewards..one member of the group got over 300 pages into it and vows to finish it off!. We all take our hats off to you...you will soon be one of the small band of those around the globe who have read the whole work!

Peter Temple has been awarded the highly acclaimed 2010 Miles Franklin Literary Award for his novel Truth.
